Spitalfields Market/Liverpool St/Old St area is hands-down my favorite area of London. Just a few pictures from the other day when I spent the Saturday wandering up here. In fact, posting these has just convinced me to go back today. It's also a haven for graffiti (I love it!), which changes on a daily basis. So...every time you come up here, it's sort of like your first time.
