I have to confess I have cropped these pictures. I was standing behind 4 other people, throwing my camera in the air & taking randomly-aimed shots. Today was Trooping the Colour. The queen's birthday. I set my alarm bright & early. Not early enough to beat the row of 4-deep people in front of me, however. It's a beautiful parade of the queen's private guards, the band & horses. They ride down the mall, then back to Buckingham Palace. The grand finale is a fly-over of the Red Arrows (think Blue Angels.)
