It's been a whole week since I've been here! In some ways, it seems like a day ago I was on that flight, but on the other hand, feels like ages as well. Spent a day at the British Museum. Went out with the girls on Sat night--pix & stories to come. Went to Brighton on Sunday & ended up running into a festival for mini-cars, yes...that's the cute little mini that is becoming popular, but only fits 1/2 person in it.
And, this week, have been suffering through hospital orientation. This means....lectures that make you want to poke your eyes out regarding basic concepts such as infection control/handwashing, how to run the PCA pumps (3 hours!!!), the security dept, etc. I don't have internet at the moment, which is why there are no pictures...don't worry, i'm taking them & will have them up asap. And....for you Fiona....one of me in my new, blue, freshly-ironed uniform.
An observation....instead of DNR, it's DNAR here. Do not ATTEMPT resuscitation. I love that they clarify that. Later.
