I am in head over heels in love with Copenhagen. I took over 400 pictures. Expect more to come. And then some more. WOW. It was so beautiful. Clean. Spotless--they use the trashcans!! Nice, friendly, polite, stunning people. Danes are an incredibly beautiful race. Fashion boutiques to die for. Cute restaurants & cafes on every corner. And the most amazing, muted, Martha-Stewart-perfect COLORS everywhere. My friend Jody & I had 3 nights there. First night was absolutely magical wandering Tivoli Park. The next day was a quiet Sunday, we wandered & wandered. Miles. Eventually stumbling on Christiana, the hippie village that squats on 85 acres, don't pay taxes & by the looks of it don't do a whole lot other than spraypaint crap graffiti & smoke pot. But...that's a whole entry on its own. And, our last day, we followed the red dot walk on our map through town, as if we were on a treasure hunt. And treasures we found! Somehow I came home with 5 rings. A pair of earrings. 2 new tops. And lots of presents for the sisters. Holy cow. That day was a bit eerie, because it was windy & rainy off & on, and literally every time we stopped for coffee, hot chocolate or a museum is when it started pissing down with rain! Our timing was impeccable!
