bicycles, bicycles, bicycles

Copenhagen has a bike for every person. And, they use them. It's so inspiring. Even in the rain, it doesn't stop them....they pull on their wellies & raincoats & off they go. And, they aren't just any bikes. They are the most cute, gorgeous bikes you could dream up. Did I mention I want to be Danish yet?
I had a "only in London" experience as I walked across the street from work today. I was almost to my door, when an elderly couple dressed up in their Sunday suit & dress out for a stroll stopped me & said, "Charles Dickens' House...are we close? There's a sign there with an arrow, is it one of these?" It is close, I know that. I didn't know where it was, & couldn't help much, however. But, I came in & looked on my map. His house is literally 2 blocks away!! That's amazing. I'm going there the first chance I have. It's one of those things, that when you live somewhere, you don't realize what is next to you. I can get a big WOW when I mention I could see Bill Gates' house from my deck in Seattle, though. (kinda...through lots of trees!)
