Went to the Sunday of the Lovebox weekend in Victoria Park with the girls. And Sam. Had such a good day! It's only the 2nd time since I've been back that we've all been in the same place at the same time. The only person missing was Jody & these festivals aren't her kinda thing. Not posh enough, I guess. Anyway, saw Goldfrapp, Craig Richards (DJ who plays Fabric nearly every Saturday night), Roni Size, The Go Team & briefly The Flaming Lips. Rode the Whirligig Circus ride (the one that looks like a cup you spin around & around in). Damn, I love that thing. Haven't been on it for years! But, I think our collective favorite (well....maybe not Sam's) was the dance area Mulletover....in the trees, surrounded by a giant wooden fence with a disco ball the size of house. Fantastic music. And lots of dust unfortunately. We were blowing out black snot for days! This is what summer in London is all about.
