Lydia has been my fellow ex-pat, hailing from Mississippi. We've had many discussions dissecting the vocabulary, traditions & habits of these British folk. We frequently reminisce about what we miss from home (ranch!). We've hosted Thanksgiving dinner, wished each other Happy 4th of July & gotten Mother's Day dates mixed up. She's always up for really long chats about anything. And, we both have skype, so it will be as if I haven't even left!
