A few weeks ago, London was in the midst of chaos. It doesn't matter if it's 1/4 inch or 5 inches, but snow grinds this city to a halt. This was taken about 10 pm. By the morning, there was 5 inches. At least 8 nurses on the CICU couldn't make it to work that morning. Not sure why the trains can't run in snow, but they can't. One nurse walked an hour to get to work. The hospital actually declared a critical event, so night nurses couldn't leave unless they were relieved! I luckily just walked across the street. It was a ghost town. But beautiful! Well, I'm off on another adventure tomorrow....taking the train to Edinburgh. We'll have a few days there, then renting a car to drive through the Highlands. We'll stay in a hotel overlooking Loch Ness Lake one night, then to the Isle of Skye for a few nights, ending in Glasgow for the weekend. I'm going with 3 of the Brompton girls. Either we'll be inseparable by the end of the week in a car or won't be able to stand the sight of each other. So, I'll be back in a week, folks!
